Turkey Researcher @ Amnesty International
Andrew Gardner is Researcher on Turkey for Amnesty International. Since joining the organization in 2007 he has worked on issues including freedom of expression and assembly, torture and impunity for human rights abuses, the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex persons, and refugee rights. Previously he had worked with civil society organizations in Turkey and other countries. He has an LLM in international human rights law from Essex University and speaks Turkish.
